Terms & Conditions

By registering for the Miss Universe United Arab Emirates event (the “Event”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting your registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, along with the Privacy Policy detailed below.

2. Eligibility

You confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements set forth by the Miss Universe United Arab Emirates Organization, including but not limited to age, nationality, and residency requirements. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with these criteria.

3. Data Confidentiality and Personal Data Processing

We are committed to protecting your personal data. All information you provide during registration will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see below). Your data will be used solely for the purposes of administering your registration, communication related to the Event, and any necessary follow-up or compliance processes.

4. Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering. Any falsified information may result in your disqualification from the Event.

5. Use of Likeness

By participating in the Event, you grant Miss Universe United Arab Emirates and its partners the right to use your name, likeness, image, voice, and video footage for promotional, marketing, and other media purposes related to the Event.

6. Event Changes and Cancellations

We reserve the right to change or cancel the Event at any time for any reason. Should there be any significant changes, we will notify you via the contact information provided during registration.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any disputes arising from this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.

Declaration

  1. I declare that all the information provided is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.
  2. I understand and agree to the rules and regulations of the Miss Universe UAE pageant.
  3. All the information provided in this registration form is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge.
  4. I have never been involved in illegal drug use or substance abuse.
  5. I have never committed adultery or been involved in any criminal activity.
  6. I have never been convicted of a crime, imprisoned, or been involved in any legal proceedings that may harm my participation in the Miss Universe UAE pageant.
  7. I agree to comply with the rules, regulations, and standards set forth by the Miss Universe UAE Organization.
  8. I understand that any false statements or omissions may disqualify me from participating in the competition.

Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

1. Confidential Information:
For the purposes of this Agreement, "Confidential Information" shall mean any and all information, in any form, disclosed by the Miss Universe UAE Organization to the Participant, including but not limited to personal data, proprietary information, business operations, marketing strategies, contestant selection processes, and any other information not generally known to the public.

2. Obligation of Confidentiality:
The Participant agrees to maintain the confidentiality of the Confidential Information and not to disclose, use, or permit the use of any Confidential Information for any purpose other than for participating in the Miss Universe UAE pageant.

3. Exclusions from Confidential Information:
Confidential Information does not include information that:

  • Was known to the Participant prior to receiving it from the Miss Universe UAE Organization;
  • Becomes publicly available without breach of this Agreement by the Participant;
  • Is independently developed by the Participant without the use of or reference to the Confidential Information;
  • Is disclosed under a legal obligation or court order, provided the Participant promptly notifies the Miss Universe UAE Organization of such disclosure.

4. Return of Materials:
Upon request by the Miss Universe UAE Organization, the Participant agrees to return or destroy all materials containing Confidential Information.

5. Term:
This Agreement shall remain in effect for the duration of the Participant's involvement with the Miss Universe UAE pageant and for a period of three (3) years after such involvement has ended.

6. Governing Law:
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

7. Entire Agreement:
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior agreements, negotiations, and understandings, whether written or oral.
